The landscape architects have played a critical role in the success of this project, as advocates, collaborators, communicators and designers. Private and public interests partnered to deliver the project, which has created a public space for the wider Brisbane community, as well as fostering local business opportunities.

Four key principles informed the design, and although they are all evident in the built work, the execution is deftly managed. The result is a space that looks and feels like a subtropical laneway, that fits in its place and will continue to evolve with its city.
