"A community of innovators, in a riverside garden, in a city": the Vision outlined in the University of Queensland St Lucia Campus Master Plan succinctly outlines both the opportunities and challenges facing this important institution. The master plan is rigorous, and the depth of investigation and analysis is obvious.
Great care has been taken with consultation, which was both lengthy and comprehensive, with a willingness to address contentious issues head-on. The proposed strategies and enabling projects, and indeed all parts of the document, are clearly articulated. The University has been presented with a tremendous instrument to guide its strategic planning, decision-making and operations into the future.
