Maravista demonstrates the value of the landscape architecture profession in bringing good site planning and analysis principles to elevate the tourism potential of private rural landholdings. This organic / eco food based destination master plan envisages the future role of wineries in promoting local and regional tourism.
The master plan draws upon the site's existing topographic and vegetation features as a picturesque setting for a paddock to plate dining and function facility, opening up the winery to enhanced community use and appreciation. It will be exciting to see this vision develop over time to include detailed strategies and implementation of sustainable water management, productive gardens and food education initiatives.
