Jones Residence
Jones Residence is a wonderful demonstration of the contribution gardens can make to the quality of our daily lives. The thoughtfully crafted garden embraces the site and its existing features and integrates a new residence in a fitting demonstration of quality design.
The environmental challenges of a creek regeneration and the requirements to manage a number of significant trees are accommodated in the relaxed garden environment. Similarly, the needs of an active family and planning of a pool, barbecue and deck area as
well as quieter contemplative spaces are integrated into the garden with a tailored Mediterranean palette of plants
The jury commended the design team for its engaging use of plants to create layers of varied textures, hues and forms.
Jones Garden is a living landscape that celebrates planting through a structure that meets the needs of the local site and provides a new lifestyle for the Jones family.
